L070-ELE-HYT TransDrive Jaw Coupling L070 Hytrel Spider Element

The Hytrel L Jaw Coupling Element is designed for use in standard L-series jaw couplings, compatible with Lovejoy and similar industry-standard designs. The element is constructed from Hytrel, a durable thermoplastic elastomer known for high torque capacity, excellent oil and chemical resistance, and a wide operating temperature range (−50°C to +120°C).

The three-component coupling system—comprising two jaw hubs and this spider-shaped insert—eliminates metal-on-metal contact, reducing wear and noise. The Hytrel insert allows for angular misalignment up to 0.5° and parallel misalignment up to 0.4mm, ensuring reliable power transmission even with slight shaft misalignment.

Suitable for light to medium duty industrial applications, the element transmits torque efficiently, dampens vibration, and requires no lubrication. Replacement is straightforward, as the insert can be changed without removing the hubs.
