• Dimensions and performance align to AS/NZS 1359, IEC 60034, and IEC 60072.
• Fully compliant with MEPS2 efficiency (AS/NZS 1359.5:2004); many models meet or exceed IE2 efficiency (IEC 60034-30).
• Type tested as per AS/NZS 1359.102.3 / IEC 60034-2-1.

Intorq DC Brake System

• Fitted with Intorq brand DC brake for instant, reliable stopping (fail-to-safe design: brake is engaged when power is off).
• Emergency hand release included for all TAIB motors, enabling manual release during power outages or maintenance.
• Ideal for safety-critical conveyors, hoists, and automation where controlled stopping is essential.

Electrical and Thermal Protection

• Class F insulation; temperature rise limited to Class B for durability and long service life.
• Spike-resistant windings ensure full compatibility with VVVF/variable speed drives.
• Motors from frame 160 and above provided with PTC thermistors (150°C trip as standard; additional 130°C for alarms on request).

Mechanical & Mounting Details

• IP55 enclosure standard, oil seal or V-ring seal used depending on flange/foot mount.
• Robust, detachable multi-mount feet allow for flexible installation (16 mounting pads as standard).
• Drilled/tapped shaft and optional B5R flange make units ideal for fans or directly coupled gearboxes.
• Top-mounted, rotatable aluminium terminal box (90° increments for cable entry flexibility).

Finish, Bearings, and Range

• RAL 7024 Graphite Grey alkyd enamel finish (other colours available).
• Fitted with NSK sealed-for-life deep groove ball bearings for low maintenance.
• Available across a wide range, typically 0.18kW to 7.5kW in four-pole (other sizes/polarities on request).
