The FAG SNS-H Split Plummer Block Housing is a high-strength, modular housing system made from spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron), providing exceptional durability and load capacity under harsh conditions. It is engineered to accommodate spherical roller bearings with either tapered or cylindrical bores, mounted directly on the shaft or via adapter sleeves.

A key feature of the SNS-H design is its optimised internal geometry that distributes loads evenly across the bearing seat, reducing stress and extending bearing service life by up to 50%. The housing incorporates an advanced lubrication system with a long axial groove, integrated grease outlets, and pilot holes for condition monitoring sensors, ensuring reliable operation and simplified maintenance.

Sealing options include labyrinth, bolt-on, and taconite seals, providing optimal protection against contamination in dusty, wet, or abrasive environments.
