8577-50 Chemtools Thread Sealant (8577), Potable Water, All Thread Types, 50ml

8577 Thread Sealant is an AGA approved Class III methacrylate ester compound offering immediate low pressure resistance for all metal threads on pipes, joints, and fittings, locking and sealing to resist loosening and leakage during testing and after full cure.

8577 is a soft setting sealant with a rated working pressure of 2,000 kPa. It is suitable for Potable Water and protects against corrosion, shock, and vibration. 8577 will not creep, shrink, gall, migrate, or block systems, and is an excellent sealant for gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils, and other chemicals.

Note: It is recommended to prime inactive metals first with 8-3471 Anaerobic Adhesives Primer.
