Ringfeder TND XSX Steel Disc Coupling is a high-performance, torsionally stiff coupling designed for precise, backlash-free torque transmission in demanding industrial applications. Featuring an integrated shrink disc shaft-hub connection, it provides a secure, friction-locked mounting solution without the need for keyways, making it ideal for applications requiring accurate positioning, high reliability and simplified installation.
The single-jointed design incorporates two hubs with a single stainless steel disc pack, allowing the coupling to compensate for angular and axial shaft misalignment while maintaining exceptional torsional rigidity. Its modular construction also enables straightforward conversion to a double-cardanic arrangement using two couplings and a spacer where increased misalignment capability is required.
To suit varying operating requirements, the TND XSX is available with two disc pack configurations:
- HD (High Deflection) – Provides increased flexibility for greater shaft misalignment compensation.
- HT (High Torque) – Delivers higher torque capacity for heavy-duty power transmission applications.
