TND QCQ steel disc couplings feature a radially removable compact spacer for fast maintenance in confined installations
The Ringfeder TND QCQ Steel Disc Coupling is a torsionally stiff, backlash-free coupling designed for applications where installation space is limited and fast maintenance is essential. Its innovative compact spacer can be installed and removed radially, allowing servicing without disturbing connected equipment, making it an ideal solution for confined industrial environments.
The coupling features two open flange hubs, two stainless steel disc packs and a compact spacer secured with high-strength fasteners to form a double-jointed configuration. Combined with a shrink disc shaft-hub connection, the design provides secure, friction-locked shaft mounting without keyways while delivering precise, backlash-free torque transmission.
Available with two disc pack options, the TND QCQ can be tailored to suit different operating requirements:
- HT (High Torque) – Provides greater torque capacity for demanding power transmission applications.
- HD (High Deflection) – Offers increased flexibility for improved shaft misalignment compensation.
