NMTG Internal Freewheel One-Way Clutches (Sprag Type) NCS
NCS Series clutches are compact, press-fit sprag freewheels designed for overrunning, indexing and backstopping applications where external bearing support is provided.
Features
- Bore range: up to 80mm
- Nom. Transmitting Torque: 1400Nm
- Designed for press-fit installation into a housing via the outer race
- The housing bore must be machined to an H7 tolerance
- External bearings must be used to support radial loads, as the clutch does not incorporate bearing support
- Keyways should be provided on the outer surface of the clutch to ensure secure installation
- The housing must have sufficient strength to withstand the forces generated during press-fit installation
- Oil lubrication is required, with all lubrication and sealing provisions to be supplied by the installation.
