Project Requirements

Our customer required slewing bearings and suitable slew drive assemblies for a mining processing application. The challenge within this application was providing a drive assembly allowing equipment maintenance with minimal disruption, downtime, and loss production within the application.

Project Solution

With our team’s knowledge and expertise, we designed and drafted drawings of a suitable drive assembly to present to our customer for approval, a drive that has been modified to suit specific application requirements.

Once approval was received, we supplied drive assemblies with integral inching drives, fitted with drive coupling and an overrunning clutch assembly. These features were incorporated to enhance operational flexibility and efficiency.
