Double Pitch Conveyor Chain
Generally, conveyor chains are used for longer distances and at lower speeds compared to transmission chains. As a result, the pins, bushings, and rollers remain unchanged, while the plate pitch is doubled to reduce the number of sprocket teeth engaged with the chain by half. Due to the low chain speed, the wear on pins, bushings, and rollers is minimal. D.I.D Double Pitch Chains conform to the ANSI standard and are available in both the “Ultimate Life Chain Series” and “Environment Resistant Chain Series,” just like our single pitch chains.
