Founded in 1906 with the first cotton power transmission belt manufactured in Japan. Bando is built on the philosophy of pioneer for the future through human and eco-friendly manufacturing and by 1969 Bando had expanded its liaison offices to the United States as well as Germany. In 1978, Bando America and Bando Europe were established. With the continued success in the following years, Bando Singapore, Sanwu Bando, Taiwan, Bando’s expansion in America as well as Bando Iberica, Spain were all established. Today, Bando has expanded to over 14 countries including China and Korea. These facilities form the foundation to sell their products on a global scale and create a name that is synonymous with premium products.
Their range of high-performance, state-of-the-art Red Seal V-Belts are all rigorously manufactured to meet ISO-9001, TS16949 and ISO-14001 certification and are backed by decades of research and development into cutting edge rubber and elastomer processing technologies including American Petroleum Institute certification since 1980 for heat, oil and flame resistance, ideal for heavy-duty multiple belt drives.
