Spherical Bearings, or spherical roller bearings as they’re sometimes called, are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings and barrel rollers with cages.

Tapered roller bearings comprise solid inner and outer rings with tapered raceways and tapered rollers with cages.
